With Regret

Hi guys

It is with great regret that I inform my crafty friends that I am closing the PCJ Challenge Blog. Thank you to all that have shared their crafty projects with us and of course our fabulous Design Team.

The blog shop is still open to purchase images (see side bar).

Take care my friends and good-bye

Winners of Challenge #5 Embellish it!

Thank-you so much for all the fabulous entries for the "Embellish It!" challenge. It was very hard to pick four winners so I enlisted the help of my lovely daughter Bethany. We decide that the most important criteria was that of the hand made embellishment, and judged the entries based upon that.
Without further ado I am very pleased to announce the winner...
In first place, the winner of a blog badge and 3 fabulous digi stamps from the Papercraft Junkies Shop is

Yana Pritchard

Yana made this stunning tribute entirely by hand, words cannot express how beautiful and full of love we think this project is.

Bethany and I have also chosen our top three favourites which all win a blog badge.

Top Favourite

The flowers on both the card and candle are beautiful and we both loved the candle wrapping.

Second Favourite goes to

We chose this because of the detail in cutting and colouring the vellum on the beautiful flowers.

Our third favourite was

This is a gorgeous card and we loved the tiny snowflakes (and admired the patience taken to create this!)

All of the entries were truly wonderful and it was hard work judging but I hope that you agree with our choices!
Please pop over to our current Challenge which is a fabulous Bingo Board Challenge hosted by Tracey HERE

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas,
Love, Denyse x

Challenge #6 - Bingo Board

Hello fellow crafty-peeps, Tracey here again!

This time our challenge has been chosen by the lovely Dawn as a bingo board -

Basically play bingo and follow either a line across, down or diagonal to include these elements.  You could even go for a full house!

As usual our Design Team have been busy creating some fabulous examples to hopefully inspire you to join in with the challenge.

This Challenge will run from 10:00 (GMT) on 15th December 2012 to 09:59 on 31st December 2012, so that event that happens on 25th December will happen in the meantime so a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our crafty friends from around the world!!!

Don't forget that the challenge winner will win 3 digi images for non-PCJ images used and 4 digi images if you've incorporated PCJ images.  We will also choose our three favourites to receive the fab blog badges too (as shown in the side bar and explained in the challenge rules).

Andree has gone with the Flower Heart which is currently on sale at only 99p for both coloured and uncoloured images HERE.  Andree has chosen to colour the image in this gorgeous colour scheme.  The line used on the Bingo Board was RIBBON, FLOWERS, BUTTONS

Caroline chose to colour the Faeries which are in our FREEBIES section HERE along with the Fairy Wing Set 2 which are on sale at only 99p HERE to create this fabulous double twist easel card.  Caroline's line on the Bingo Board was RIBBON, PEARLS, PINK

Denyse chose to colour and then cleverly decoupage the Christmas Snowman currently available HERE at only 75p in both coloured and uncoloured. Denyse's line on the Bingo Board to create this wonderful tag is PINK, GLITTER, TAG

Erin chose to colour the Skulls - Bow available HERE at only 75p to create this wonderful card.  Erin's line on the Bingo Board is RIBBON, PEARLS, PINK

Fiona also chose to colour the Frames Floral - 4 Bugs images available HERE at only 99p to create this stunning card.  Fiona's line on the Bingo Board is FLOWERS, DIE-CUTS, RIBBON

Finally I made this bag using the Christmas Holly (which I reduced in size) available HERE at the sale price of only 75p.  The line on the Bingo Board I used was FLOWERS, PUNCHES, GLITTER

I'm sure you'll agree that the team has outdone themselves this time round.

Challenge #5 - Embellish It!

Hello, it's Denyse here,
Welcome to the 5th Challenge for Papercraft Junkies!
This month it is my turn to choose a theme and I have chosen, "Embellish It!"
You can choose any subject that you like but your project must have at least one embellishment and you have to make the embellishment yourself! (You can use punches, die cuttters, paper etc whatever you like to make your embellishment but there must be one embellishment on the card which was not bought!)
All the usual rules apply and you have until 09.59 am December 15th to get your entries in. We would be delighted to see any type of project provided it complies with the rules :)
There are prizes and badges on offer but the prize is BIGGER if you use a Papercraft Junkie  Digital stamp! You can check the rules and prizes in the side bar.
I will also let you into a secret ... there are FREE digi stamps waiting for you in the PCJ online shop and there is also a SALE on, so I can't think better reasons to click HERE and fill up your shopping baskets!!
The results of  challenge #4 will be available in a few days so please check back and see who has won. Each fortnight the winners are chosen not picked at random and so you can be sure that your time and effort is appreciated by us here at PCJ.

As always the design team have produced some fabulous inspiration for you...

Tracey has not only made the beautiful flower herself but has designed and made this gorgeous bag! She has used the "tweet" image of a little birdie from PCJ! (sorry couldn't resist!)

Fiona-Kate has used the lovely framed style digi stamp and has embellished it with a freehand drawing and gems made from liquid pearls.

Caroline has made a beautiful card and embellished it with a stunning handmade charm and bows. I love the elegance of the PCJ digi stamp that she has used.

Andree has used the Christmas tree digi stamp to create this elegant card. The handmade wire embellishments look beautiful and are perfect on a Christmas tree card.

Erin has used my favourite Digi stamp! (from the Rustin Collection)
Her striking card is embellished with cogs and wheels looks fabulous!

I have been playing with pouring melted embossing powders into silicone moulds, so I made my button for this project. I wanted to use the stunning PCJ Digi Stamp and decided to give it a Gothic feel.

I am REALLY looking forward to seeing your entries and look forward to commenting on them all!
